Brunch - Best Invention Ever!

Honestly the Americans sure know how to eat. I had some delicious meals whilst i was away. They definitely know how to do Brunch. I'm going to campaign that its complusory in London ha ha. Over the weekend whilst my friend was off work we went twice.

The first time was too a little cafe by Fulton Market, called Made Fresh Daily, (link here), which is located in South Street Seaport (more here). This area is adorable - little cobbled streets and buildings nestled in between the Financial District skyscrapers and the Pier. A definite must visit if you are down that way.

They call this a buttermilk biscuit - American for a scone. I didn't think it would work with a hot filling but it totally did. Delicious and with a little fruit salad as well! Everything tastes amazing and fresh, of course!

So on Sunday i was feeling blue. I would be flying out of NYC that night and i really didn't want to come home. I couldn't believe how quickly i'd fallen in love with the city. My lovely friends took me for Brunch in the West Village. The restaurant was called Agave (link here). I think it's pretty popular at all mealtimes. Who knew a meal in between Breakfast and Lunch would work so well......or maybe it was the free re-fill Mimosas!
