Micro Ring Hair Extensions

You've probably noticed that my hair often shifts from shoulder length to below my bust depending on photos! Usually my hair is au natural - because i'd rather snooze before work than make effort with my very thin hair. However for a night out i don't feel like me unless i have some extra oomph! Below are just a couple of examples where my clip in hair extensions have made the difference on a night out!

My lovely hairdresser has just recently trained and become qualified in Micro Ring Hair Extensions. As i am the perfect person to get these (thin hair, no volume) and i use my clip ins so regularly, i decided to treat myself to some semi-permanent ones. I can't wait to get styling! What do you think?!

After (pre styling - think it needs a bit of a natural curl!)

Guerlain Terracotta Light

As mentioned by the gorgeous Olivia Palermo on her blog i decided to try out Guerlain's Bronzer. My last bronzer was by Dior and was too orange for my natural complexion. I'm not dissappointed with Miss Palermo's recommendation. The colour is subtle but gives me a healthy glow whilst i'm in England and i'm sure it will compliment a holiday tan where it has slight shimmer (but not too full on for daytime in the UK!). It looks so pretty too and is designed specifically for Blondes so it compliments my skin tone.

I got this from the Guerlain counter in John Lewis but you can find their products online here and it will direct you to the sites you can buy it.So even if we don't get any sun in the UK we can still look like we have! xxx

Topshop 'Head Over Heels' Blusher

I'm not just saying this as i work for them, but i do love Topshop Make Up! I recently fancied a cream blusher as i was having bad experiences with powder ones exploding over my make up bag! How cute is this?! Perfect summer shade... goes on like a cream blush but sets like a powder! Try them out! I love them - packaging, quality and affordable! xxx

Rapid Lash Eyelash Enhacing Serum - It Works!

So i wouldn't say i had short eye lashes before i started using Rapid Lash Serum. They were a good normal length. But i would often fiddle with false eyelashes on a night out to give my eyes a bit of va va voom! When i read about the Rapid Lash serum i was sceptical. It is expensive at about £40 in Boots, but it was on offer when it first came out and i thought why not lets give it a try!

All i can say is wow! Everyone always asks if im wearing false lashes or extensions. At first i was like are you pulling my leg but it soon became clear this stuff worked! My answer is always no, it's just normal mascara. I put the Rapid Lash Serum on every night before bed and i honestly do swear by it for giving me healthy, thicker, longer lashes. It would be one of my beauty must haves and i wouldnt be able to live without it now.

This photo (excuse the pint it was my birthday!) shows 100% normal lashes. I was so happy when i saw them all thick and lovely!

Before my lashes would fall out quite often, and couldnt take the strain of any curling or repeated false lash gluing. Now i have the occasional lashes that seem to grow and grow to embarrassing lengths that i dont want to put too much mascara on they are so long! If you want to give your lashes a boost this is a definite. It's also a godsend if your brows are looking a little overplucked. Works up there too guys.

Again this photo was taken in April and my lashes are 100% long and lovely. This stuff works!

This is the only type of serum i've tried and as i know it works i wont try any others. Let me know if there are any other good ones you recommend and i'll keep my lashes wide open!
