Day at the Museums....Part 1

One of the things i always kick myself over is the fact that i always take for granted the fact that i live in London. There is so much to see and do and im incredibly lazy! My boy and I had a random Tuesday off so we thought we would go wander around some museums in London.

First up was the Victoria & Albert museum, website here. I love the V&A because its just that little bit different to the rest (and has great fashion archives!). Its initials stand for me and my boyfriend (Victoria and Ant). Haha i told him it was our 'Brand' logo. Not sure he was so amused but my retail brain found it funny.

The chandelier is stunning. Always makes me smile as i walk in the entrance and gaze up.....

 We had lunch out in the courtyard - isn't it gorgeous! I was so happy the rain had eased off so we could tuck in to lunch. And my boyfriend was a beauty and bought me a cuppa. Isn't this paper cup great?!

I treated myself to this fab little pair of daisy earings and a silver and pink friendship bracelet. The shops profits go towards the museum so its a worthy shopping cause. There were so many amazing pieces in there i will definitely be going back soon!

 The Ballgown exhibition looked great - sadly we didnt have time to go in. I am going to ditch the boyfriend and go back up myself to have a look. I love a good dress. I wore my Zara dress i bought last week...
