Friday Top-shopping

The last Friday of every month is payday for me, it is a joyous occasion that i look forward to. Somehow i relate those good Friday payday feelings to every Friday, payday or not. It's Friday so i use that excuse to go and treat myself, to celebrate the weekend. One of my best talents in life is being able to justify pretty much anything i do. So there you have my reasoning for yesterday's shop.

 So what did i buy i hear you ask. Well three things, because i just couldn't decide, and when you shop on your own multiple purchases just tend to happen! (Another justification). 

I popped to Topshop at Oxford Circus and had a mooch round. There were many things i could have bought, but i was strong and only got three (yeah i think that's a justification too). First thing that i was kind of aiming on getting anyway was this gorgeous poppy print bralet. Now don't go thinking of me as a girl with a washboard stomach, because believe me its not. But i find these bralets are so easy to wear with layering. I've got some sheer blouses that before i had bra panic over what to wear underneath, now thats gone because thanks to bralets i can wear something a little bit more pretty and covered up underneath. I will try to post some photos of this concept in action soon. Just an excuse to wear this really hehe.

 

Ok so maybe these will work, maybe they won't. But anything that looks sparkly from a distance always gets my attention. I've only just got the confidence to wear my pu/wetlook leggings so these are a definate step up. They look amazing up close and really catch your eye from afar. Think i may rock these with some ankle boots, a rock tee and a splash of red lipstick. What do you think?

My final purchase was this gorgeous coral (or Watermelon as Topshop call it) jersey blazer. The colour is so amazing - i feel happier just looking at it. I can't wait to wear it out today with some skinny jeans and a simple vest. It will do all the talking for my outfit so i'm going to let it take centre stage. Now all i need is some sunshine and warmth to wear it out on a regular basis. Think its going to be a staple in my wardrobe this season.
