Stella Shoes - Rachel Bilson for Shoe Mint

Evening all. Hope you've had a lovely weekend? Bought these a couple of weeks ago but haven't had the chance to wear them out!

 I love the little extra touches - like the bow around the box and the multi lingual thank you card. Shoes were well packed with plastic shapers and bags to keep them well protected. I even got a free Stylist pick paper bag. I wore them out to dinner with my family - the Dress is Topshop. Sorry for it being so dark!

 

Gorgeous aren't they! And not as difficult to walk in as i expected! Have a great Monday! xxx

My American Apparel - Disco Pants!

Due to the $ rate and the fact they just swap their currency symbol for ours i had to pay a trip to American Apparel. I visited the lovely store in Soho, Bleeker St, NY. I was very restrained, buying the below and a romper suit which is far too short for English weather.

Disco Pants (shh i'm a convert!) available here. They are super comfy and hold me in. I've not looked that slim for a long time haha! I cannot wait to try them out with more things!

I'm wearing them with a Topshop Blouse (similar here.) and my trusty Amelie Topshop Boots. Watch is Marc Jacobs (old not new hehe).

Micro Ring Hair Extensions

You've probably noticed that my hair often shifts from shoulder length to below my bust depending on photos! Usually my hair is au natural - because i'd rather snooze before work than make effort with my very thin hair. However for a night out i don't feel like me unless i have some extra oomph! Below are just a couple of examples where my clip in hair extensions have made the difference on a night out!

My lovely hairdresser has just recently trained and become qualified in Micro Ring Hair Extensions. As i am the perfect person to get these (thin hair, no volume) and i use my clip ins so regularly, i decided to treat myself to some semi-permanent ones. I can't wait to get styling! What do you think?!

Topshop Unique SS13

I was tucked up ill in bed on Sunday feeling very sorry for myself when i remembered that Topshop were streaming their SS13 catwalk show live. What a perfect opportunity to watch. Our new Chief Marketing Officer - Justin Cooke - has really brought some fresh and exciting ideas to the table since joining a couple of months ago.

I thought my fellow Topshoppers did an amazing job and i can't wait to abuse my staffcard in 6 months time! Lets face it - this is probably one of the few catwalk shows normal girls will have a chance to buy something from! This weekend saw me up in London to celebrate a birthday of one of my lovely friends. I met her through Tatty Tulip and she is a delight. The most genuine nicest person ever! And a fellow cat lover (which is mighty important!)... Happy Birthday Rebecca!

Swirl Print Midi Dress Topshop

I shouldn't have. But i did. I love it. I love exposed shoulders. Call me a shopaholic obsessive shoulder bearer. Maybe i should rename the blog haha.

I got a Size 8 and still think it comes up quite big. Will be nice to layer in A/W. Sorry for bad angle pose - it was a quick photo post before running for my bus!

RHW for M&S

As a model i love Rosie Huntington Whiteley's style on and off duty. The acting, well i'm no expert. Can she wear underwear well? Yes. I popped in to M&S meerly to have a nosey at it. I bought two sets. Ooops. Aren't they gorgeous?

Carrie & Marc - A Perfect Combination

So after Brunch in the West Village my gorgeous NY friends took me to the one and only doorstep to visit in NY... Miss Carrie Bradshaw's! Isn't it fab. I want a front door like that!

 It's hard to imagine someone lives in this building and enters this door. And hundreds of people must photograph it everyday!

After a few pictures, as if the excitement wasnt enough, we walked to the end of the road for a bit of Shopping. Marc Jacobs doesn't do subtle. There were three stores within reach. I popped in to Marc by Marc and BookMarc. Of course i treated myself! Who wouldn't? You know i have a penchant for Mr Jacobs since i got this gorgeous bag which travelled NYC with me!

 I got 4 of these; Black, Red and Pink for work. Silver for Birthday & Christmas cards. So cool - i love these pens!

 The chicest mirror my cosmetics bag has ever seen!

 And finally a new gorgeous tote bag. I've been using it all week. Next NY trip is gonna be a designer bag splurge but i thought i'd behave myself this trip and just get a tote.

 Just love the detail on the zip and the buttons. And it was a bargain too. If you go to NY you have to buy something Marc Jacobs! I beg you!
