Margaritas with a View

My first night involved cocktails, a great view, followed by some Mexican food. Perfect....

These photos (taken with my Iphone, apologies but my Camera needed his rest) are from the Rooftop Bar of The Standard Hotel (website here). Its located in the Meatpacking District and you can see the Financial District and the Hudson really clearly. The Highline is located right underneath the hotel so you can go for wander before or after drinks/dinner. My friend knew the perfect place to give me a welcoming view of the city. Stunning and the cocktails were delicious.

Check out other pictures like this amazing one off the website here - isn't it so cool?!

On my second night i met up with some friends from the UK and we went to another ridiculously cool rooftop bar. It was called 230 Fifth (wbsite here). As you can probably predict it was on 5th Avenue. I think New Yorkers are the epitome of cool. London has a couple of these rooftop bars but seriously who can rival views like this? I believe you can go there from Brunch - why not set up shop and stay there all day, bliss!
A photo from the website....
Me and my friends chilling out.

Who fancies climbing on the roof and making me a cocktail? XxX
